So I'm here in Berlin Germany and and drinking a cheap beer that in my home would sell for twice the amount. funny how bum beer tastes like heaven when your'e a yank. and my friend at the local grocery gave me some of the best dame Raspberrys I've ever have. so I thought while eating them I'd spin a poem or 2 for your amussement and if you have raspberries that you might indulge and while us with a verser of your own. After I fought the big one,after he became our friend,the smell of wild flowers and cigarettes,the one we tried so boldly,and thinking us so scandalous did go home to our elders,to watch MTV and talk again about the sightsand songs as if it were a wonder. the smell of the raspberries on your moms garden the smell of my mothers tomatoes over my fathers beer. the sound of a cat. SO now O sit in a quiet place,Raspberries in my hand,a beer at my side and relish the taste of spring,and wild children,hiding in a tree.
