Okay so I have this friend who's really upset, so upset she might be depressed I have told her that I'm there if she needs to talk and that there are places she can anonymously talk if she doesn't feel comfortable talking to me and some of our mutual friend have said similar things to her, but shes closed up and seems to be getting sadder what do I do? How can I help? has anyone got some suggestions? Because I'm starting to think she might commit suicide.

Just leave her alone some time.
Or if you badly wanna help her, then make everything just to make her trust you. Make her believe what you say to make her comfortable. But don't be too hasty. If she doesn't want for you to be around, let her. But if she looked really down and is starting to rant at you, that's when you can comfort her.
