What can a hermit do for an important birthday? (5)

I live in a basement, and I never get out. There are external factors as to why, but the fact remains that I haven’t done a lot of things. The external factors won’t be a major hindrance on my 18th birthday, but the activity needs to be as “cost effective” as possible.

I live by Platteville, CO. It’s not close to anything. I can get to Greely, but I’d like to avoid it if I can. I might get to Denver. Bolder is possible. Longmont’s the closest place that looks half like a city, but there’s not a lot I’ve found to do.

I’d like advice on things happening on the first weekend of May around northern Colorado, and any good clothing and/or makeup stores I can check out.

The fate of my 18th birthday rests in the hands of the internet now. I pray it does not fail me know.

You could try this thread over on the countries board

That's the Colorado thread. I'm from the midwest so I can't be of much help beyond that. Hope you have an awesome birthday though, and remember that birthdays mean less when you get older only if you let them. I do have a friend that lives near Colorado Springs, no idea where that is relative to you, but next time I talk with her I'll pick her brain a bit.
