So me and my girlfriend broke up recently, in which ended in her calling me crude names, swearing, and such. We both came to the conclusion that if either of us spoke to each other, we would go to the school and file a complaint. We did not speak to each other, and a few days later, I got called into the principals office. I was informed that her parents had reviewed the texts and decided, that against our agreement, had gone to speak with the school anyways. We were both forced to sign a paper stating that we would not speak to each other and if we did we speak to one another, we would get a suspension.
I find this whole endeavor pointless, and that her family should not have spoken with the school.
That's unfortunate that things turned out that way. The toxicity levels are high enough to frizz out a geiger counter :P I'm sure the "let's just be friends" train was bombed before it left the station in this scenario, but it sounds like from the enmity between you two that it would be unlikely.
I agree, it is kind of pointless, and it makes a slip of the tongue all the more harsh on anybody involved. Good luck, good sir, I give you my best regards~
