Hey people that are reading this post. I need some advice. Over the past few months, my opinion on games, anime, manga, and life has become very strong and easy to disagree with, but it appears that some people feel the need to put down my opinion, and all of them do it in the same way. This would typically not hurt me, but the way these people do it does. I had some trouble a few months back that caused a lot of damage to my social life and it seems that these people, who obviously wander the internet looking to disagree with people, have just found a gold mine of information on how to hurt me. I would like to know how to take care of this, or just someone that agrees with more or will not insult me.

I think the only way would just my to ignore them and possibly avoid them. They obviously just want to hurt you so just dont be with them.

Man don't care about them those people are so lazy that they even can't look at something with an open mind. Plus they are only able to criticize on baseless assumptions.

You shouldn't care what those people think of your hobbies. They're YOUR interests. Not theirs. And if they're not gonna accept that fact, then maybe it's best that you stay away from those people-- forever

I'm interested in hearing about your views and whatever you find controversial; I think I'm fairly open-minded and honestly everybody should be willing to consider all of the angles one could look at in life. In any case, you shouldn't be afraid to be yourself and embrace your views and the things you love, and the people that love you will be able to accept that and you can share your perspective rather than tear them down and make attempts at assimilating eachother into a view you don't necessarily agree with. As for people who live for the express purpose of doing that to others, they're not the kind of people I would recommend wasting my time on, so I think it's in your best interests to ignore them as much as possible ^_^

I think all of this really helps. I think it mostly helps me because now I know that there are still kind people that care for a stranger's problems. Thanks a ton!
