I believe it's really a matter of paranoia. Sometimes people have this feeling where they become afraid of losing someone close to them because of something they hear on the news or anything else that could put that person they care about in danger. Honestly, you should just casually voice to your girlfriend that you have these feelings so she doesn't get the wrong idea, but also tell her that you feel the same about her. You don't want to lose her either, I'm assuming. It's okay to voice your feelings. Paranoia like that just happens every once in awhile. No need to panic.

haha I am the same for a friend of mine too (we're both girls) I LOVE a guy though so I'm not like that. and yea I moved away and we kept close by sky ping and calling and writing letters ( the thing with the paper and you put a pencil to it?yea) but you're just close friends is all. you want to see them grow in life and all it has to offer and you want the best for them. and if ( for your case a girl) comes into his life and he likes her you gotta be that " father friend" who tries to see if the girl is even worthy of your friends' time, money , and energy, and even life. it's a natural thing you're not gay you just found a best friend who you enjoy being with.
