A quick check but there's no thread like this.

If you've checked the news tab, you might've seen an article I just posted about Angelina Jolie having surgery to remove her ovaries. It's a very upsetting and a difficult decision to make. It's especially not easy to share.

I wanted to make a thread where you guys can anonymously share any sort of surgery or sickness which you found upsetting or hard to take in. It doesn't have to be related to this article all stories are welcome, men or women and anyone, feel free to share with us.

I'd like to share one that I had. I'm grateful I didn't have cancer when there was that slight chance it could be.

I had surgery once in 2012 and before that surgeons were telling me that it might be best to remove one of my ovaries. I didn't want that, I wouldn't know how the future would be like for me and I'm weak, I wanted to have kids and a family. I went against that and had the operation to get my ovaries back in shape only for the same thing to happen to me 2 years later. I cried a river as my chances of having kids in the future was starting to tremble.

Then someone told me about a herbal remedy doctor that could help me. Had to travel 900 kilometres every 3 months for a year but it was all worth it, I'm completely cured now thank goodness. I didn't cry a river this time, but you don't know how happy I was.
