HELP WANTED: anyone from Austin, Texas and have experience in waiting? (9)

1 Name: shadowpuppet : 2015-03-23 18:00 ID:L8TFi5Bn [Del]

For personal reasons, I won't share the info here, but please please please, my family solely depends on the business for paying house bills, and we also are very unemployed. I'm one of the few people working as a waitress, but it's hard because I'm still in highschool, getting into college, but I can't just find the time to do everything I need to do. you would either work for a part or full time job here and at least little experience in waiting (recommended, but optional).
It would be really nice if anyone in Austin needs a job and can help us ^^

Email me at

If you want anymore info. Thanks!

Hey, what up Shadow Puppet? XD
I understand what you are going through.
In my Middle School years, I made 5,000 dollars by myself.
I had to give it to my parents because times were hard, and we need our debt paid off.
A couple years later in my High School years, I made another 5,000 dollars.
And again, something came up and I had to give it to my parents.

So I understand what you are going through.

What I did even before I was in my teen years, I started working in my neighborhood. I cut my neighbors' grass and trimmed their yard for less then 5 bucks, front and backyard.
After a while, my father taught me how fix home appliances and things of that nature. And so with that experience and with aid from my library with books on mechanics, I started fixing washing machines, dryers, fixing shelves.
But that wasn't enough. So I started doing odd jobs around the town. I built rooms and houses. I poured cement and shaped sidewalks. I fixed cars. I did a metric f#ckton of sh#t.

Basically what I am trying to tell you is that maybe you need to do other stuff besides serving tables. And not necessarily "paper contract" bound either. I mean, don't think I am telling you to do some illegal sh#t, but there are places that you can work for per day and get paid in the same.
I suggest that in order to find these, look around, go to Convenience stores and ask for some work around the neighborhood.

If you have the will to survive, you will. Even with a dollar or 50 dollars, as long as you have that will, you're gonna survive.

Good luck.

P.S. As of now, I live in Killeen.

Wow.... I know it's been a while, but business here at the restaurant is alright. Some people actually came in to work, but one of them left right after they trained for ONLY 4 days...... and now, another person seemed to leave on her own, after working for 2 weeks. It's kind of getting serious about the employment here -_- Anyone care that I might post a mission about an official job recomendation on the Mission board? It's kind of urgent.

>>6 If ye gonna make an official job listing or whatever the proper term is, go for it.
I did a crtl+f search with "job", and came up with nothing.
That's surprising to me.
