So I was in the chatroom and someone told me that a girl committed suicide recently. At first I thought they were rping with me since I rp Izaya but they came back and said it was true. Now my question is, is it really true did some girl commit suicide or are they just being trolls? I don't want to feel like a jerk for not really saying anything but is it true?

From a 2001 stat sheet, suicides were around 84 people per day, so the probability of a female having committed suicide recently is pretty high.

This was a pretty useless thread... Like seriously, do you have a NAME of the person who died, or where they were FROM?

It's a chatroom so just make sure that the title says DRRR!! rp. Don't feel guilty because a random person decided to tell random people in a random chat that another random person died.

No but they did say that she jumped off a bridge, but I just wasn't sure if it was spam or not since I know a lot of people seem to like to do that.

If you're a person of religion, pray for the girl and her family, and move on.

I care and I don't want someone to keep bringing it up around in the chat room. I understand it may be a touchy subject, but for people like my friend and I who can be triggered by things like suicide and no one caring enough to not spread it around like a rumor, is just plain rude. I don't want other people out there having to read this and not know if its true or not then feel bad when they find out it really is. It could lead to things that people don't like to talk about and I don't want to see people get hurt by it.

So I'm sorry if I pissed you of because I want to know for sure if its true or not but I would like to know rather then some one just making up lies and rumors.

I agree with Magnolia. There's really nothing you can do but move on and ignore it. It's only something you heard in an internet chatroom. I doubt any of us know who the girl is.
