So, I started learning Russian last year from a really old book (published in 1962), and, while it was mostly helpful, it was a little outdated. I got a newer book that helped for a while, but then I left my book bag outside while I used the restroom and returned to find that it had rained heavily while I was in the restroom - welcome to Texas - and my new book was completely waterlogged. My older book was also slightly damaged, but I can still use it. I'm trying to pick the language back up nowadays, but I'm going to need some help learning the finer points of grammar and conversational Russian. Are there any Russian Dollars out there who can give me some generic advice and/or help me with any problems I encounter along the way?
Hey there! There's a Dollars Study Group on the Missions Board and we've got a Russian tutor. They might be able to help you. Just drop by and see if you want to join us via e-mail or Skype:
>>4 Of course, some of the people in that group are just learning for fun. Well, best of lucks! Keep on learning Russian, it's a beautiful language! I'd love to learn it some day.
