I'm not shure if I should tell my parents about the dollars because they don't like me chatting with random people online. If you have advice please post it for me and others who have the same problem. Thank you.

Unless you have something to gain by telling them there isn't a point. They don't need to know.

You haven't to lie if they ask you about something like that. If they ask, just tell them and calmly explain why are you doing it. If they don't ask. You haven't to.
