There was a time when I wanted to be a hero. It’s true. I wanted to hold a sword and run up to the bad guy and defeat him with a swift swing. I wanted to save everyone from a time bomb and have my face on the news. I wanted to have superpowers and be loved by people all around the world!
But, I was a child back then. Yes, I wanted to be a hero but everything has a price. I have to take responsibility. No longer did I wish to hold a sword and slice someone down. Blood on my shoes wouldn’t be pretty. Knowing which cord to pick on a bomb won’t be easy. And in reality, no one is born with a superpower. You have to have irregular genes or an irregular organ to be considered super-natural.
I want to be a genius. But that’s also impossible. To be a genius, you have to be born one. Yes, that’s right. You have to be born with the special ability to use that certain ability. The ability to lead. The ability to draw! The ability to do multi-tasking without even breaking a sweat!
But no, I wasn’t born that way. I was born normal. Just a normal human being, like you. My life is normal. My talent is not yet found. But I have my own interests. And as a teen, I have this interest in a certain something. Everyone wants to change! They want to change who they are.

People don’t easily change, I noticed. No matter where they go, they’ll still be the same old person they used to be. There will be some upgrades in personality, but they’ll still be them.

And so, Orihara Izaya said, "To make the greatest change is to evolve!"
Can I really eveolve into a whole new person??
Can people truly turn themselves to better??

A person can evolve, evolving doesn't mean to completely change, it means changing gradually. You're attitude towards the idea of evolving is actually a very pessimistic one and it just tells me that you haven't even tried. You gave up evolving even before you even started. All my life I have evolved and I continue to do this. I know I'm not special but I never cared being special. All I care about is being satisfied with myself and the more I live on the more I evolve as a person. If you want to evolve then you have to try, a person who gives up will never evolve.

I guess I'm an exception. I've changed and I'm never going back. My old self is gone completely and I prefer it that way. XD Just kidding but yeah how'd you know I was normal? XD Izaya hasn't evolve yet, he"s still a child in an adult's body. He's a genuis but he's an idiot at the same time. Instead of making the world a better..he(sighs). Nevermind that, I didn't want to fucking change but it happens. There are just some things you can't and can generalize people but this shouldn't be it. People are constantly changing if they aren't they get left behind or are ahead of the crowd. Until you've seen everything..and I mean people around the world then you haven't noticed enough people. XD But you gotta keep looking inside yourself, why such a pessimistic view of the world?

I guess I did give up somewhere in my path. I guess I'll just have to make myself a new one. Thank you guys for replying.

Sometimes, I just keep thinking these things. I feel like I'm being led astray. But, now I see how pathetic it is and look at the reality of stuff. If I want to start again, I gotta forgive myself and learn how to keep moving forward... i think. I just want to get out of my problems that won't be solved at all.

But i'm not doing anything so, i guess i need to start now. XD

I know how you feel. I want do do so much stuff. I want to be known around the world. But I'm this one small person on this earth. I just have a saying I say over and over to myself, Reality Sucks
