Should boredom be a problem (6)

Advance Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!

I'm bored to death. It's not that I don't have any schoolwork, it's just that there's nothing interesting in my life that I'm not motivated to do my best at anything. I mean you all know that it's different when you're inspired since you put effort into almost everything you do. The real thing is, I feel lonely and it's just so sad?I want to enjoy the last days of my highschool life yet I never had a boyfriend nor a date. I know there's a lot of problems in this world, but don't you feel lonely sometimes?

I think feeling lonely is something that just come and go, I mean, everyone has felt lonely or been bored but we can all change that. What is boring is things that doesn't change so if things around you are like like that you just have to chane them. It's not difficult just look at them in a different way. ^^

I was talking with an adviser at school one time about how I performed well, but didn't really have any passion driving me to do that; I just kind of did it. He said that passion and inspiration are really tricky words for him to use correctly. Neither one is a requirement to enjoy something and get a lot out of it, nor is either as common as they seem. Find something that makes you happy and pour as much as you feel like pouring into it rather than trying to compare yourself to how you feel you should be acting. You don't have to destroy yourself trying to be the best at something, but you should have things you're interested in that make you happy to do and explore. If you're unhappy and feel like you're lacking things and people like that, then you should branch out and take some risks and try and connect with something or someone. It's okay if you miss a few times, but the more times you throw the dice the higher the chance you'll get the roll you want. One of the best ways to find something interesting and meet cool people at the same time is to join a club or find a new hobby. Hell, the Dollars are kind of a club you probably joined because of a hobby you enjoy. But it's true that even if you are surrounded by people that you can still be just as lonely, and to fix that you have to make that jump to connect with them. Take a friend or two you really like and open up little by little to them and get closer, or find someone you don't really know and take a spontaneous chance to get to know them better. There are even plenty of cool people here you could try to get to know better and connect with. Basically, just keep yourself busy while leaving plenty of time for yourself and don't get frustrated and you won't even notice what a good time you're having.

Story that can actually happen on a valentines...

Just bummed out that I finished all my books and games so many times that I can't squeeze entertainment out of it anymore and stuck seeing people go together when I don't even have any friends. Ho well just got to go on a new quest for a hobby!
