What's the best advice for my friend? (4)

So here goes:
We will call my friend Kristina and my other friend Leo. So, Kristina and Leo are going to prom this year. Kristina has been asked out by the guy she has liked from middle school for prom. She said yes. Leo knows she has liked that guy for such a long time, but Leo has been best friends since childhood with Kristina. Leo knows everything about Kristina and he secretly likes her. Leo doesn't know if he should confess or not. I didn't about this situation until later because he asked, "What would you do if you fell in love with your best friend?" I said, "I'd confess my feelings at some point, but if I see them happier with someone else, then I'd just try to let those feelings wash away. After all, I want them to be happy."
What's the best advice I can give to Leo?
What would you do?

You perfectly handled it like a boss! Props to you and I hope your friend handles it as well as you did!

Honestly...just tell him to confess...even if he gets rejected he will still know that his feelings got through...I've been in the same situation and I confessed. It made me feel better and helped me get over that person...just tell Leo that things won't be the same between them probably...depends on the friendship!

You should tell him to confess. It's easier if both people know about the feelings. If he gets rejected then that shouldn't change anything about their friendship. And by the way you really handled that perfectly.
