Ask the question. Why? (5)

As people tend to grow or evolve as they say, seeking the unknown seems to be vanishing from the mind. Only a few people seek for it. Some are contented with the way they live for now or they may just rely on people who seeks for it unfortunately. I hate to admit it but humans are getting lazy every passing time, we may be lazy to find something new, or to find out why is every phenomenon in our life getting to the point of what it is right now. Or maybe we are just busy with our time, one can't just find the time to find out, this maybe just a valid reason, or not. Example is your very busy at work to ever wonder why is it so hot (global warming). or maybe busy enough with your romantic affiliation with another individual to ever wonder what is true affection is, and if what your experiencing is what it truly is.

Some people may care, and that's maybe a good thing, or not. There are things in the world better off not knowing, we may see the truth and its unfavorable outcome will devastate us. Its like finding out why a loner is a loner, you may seek to know why, but that reason maybe adverse to what we think, maybe devastating. Even though, we need to seek for it. Wonder why the greeny fields you saw when you were a kid is replaced by a building, why is your classmate is in the corner of your classroom, why is your girlfriend is angry at you, or why you love rock music and to every answer you get. question again why. it may give you answers that you never thought of.

Does it really matter why though? I mean, if you think about it, we don't really gain from knowing the why of things. Sure we'll have a little bit more knowledge, but generally it won't change our opinion on something or how we feel about it. I think it's really just a difference of dispostition; there are a lot of people that just have to know the why, who enjoy that kind of thing. But there are also a lot of people who are more feeling oriented, who don't care one way or another why something happens. Rather, what's more important is how it affects their life.

It is an interesting idea that maybe humanity as a whole is just growing lazy, and I do think it's important to try and understand the world around. But I don't think it's a product of laziness. We do lack a desire to understand what's around us, but I think it's because we're never taught that that's important. Not laziness, but ignorance towards our ignorance. We don't know that maybe we oughta understand, hell I'm sure some people don't even recognize how much they don't know about things.

I think I may have gotten off topic, but that's just my two cents, for what it's worth.

I guess people nowadays have a lack of desire to know, but I think it is also important to know why and how things happened to them, whether its their personal problem or whatnot. Maybe to prevent it from happening again or find a solution for it.
