Hey, I'm currently in NYC and in looking for an apartment share. I keep running into scammers so this is sort of a last resort. My budget is $550 for rent, and then we can divide up the utilities and wifi bills. I don't use cable, so that'd be the only thing we wouldn't share. I've already tried Craigslist (shit ton of scammers. Druggies almost got the jump on me in Queens), I've tried padmapper (there's some bug on the website, and it's search won't work), I've tried Roomster (which is utterly useless unless you're willing to pay for it's services), I've tried SpareRoom.com, and I've tried NY Habitat.
