Hello all!
Well i guess a good way to start is to say everything just feels so wrong. Like i feel absolutely useless. I started college this year and I'm already behind on the classes that I'm supposed to be in, while the friends i went to school with previously are basically years ahead of me already. I feel like I'm only making trouble for my parents because I'm not far ahead like they are. I mean I just don't understand. I could really just use of words of advice or something. It all just feels kinda empty, ya know? Anything helps.
Thanks!!

Did you try tuition or self-study? Maybe you're a kinaesthetic learner,or an audio leaner. Do you copy down notes? Or maybe you can record yourself reading out loud and listen to yourself whenever you're free? Re-taking notes help me and my friend. I don't know if I helped but good luck on your studies.

Hey greenE. College isn't for everyone, it's not an easy feat. What you want is to not be troublesome and to be at the same level as your friends. Firstly, you're not your friends, you're different and you'll learn differently too. You should be interested in doing well for yourself, not for other people. I mean it is your life after all. And if you really want to do well, you can. The more you tell yourself you're useless, the more you'll believe that you'll never be good enough. You need to take the time to realise that you can totally do it, even if you're a bit slower than others. 'Cause if it's really important to you, you should be prepared to work really hard for it.

hi greenE. I am currently in the same situation as you, I have been in education for a number of years while my friends finished and are all persuing a working career. Even though you are not at the same stage as your friends doesn't mean you can't get there. Everyone just takes it at different paces and if you are behind in classes, maybe talk to your teacher or even just someone close it might help motivate you and feel confident.
