Attention Fright? (3)

Domo there

Well. this has been bugging me since school started in my life, I get this little, umm, stage fright? or the fear of being the center of attention? Is that a phobia? well I dunno. But I noticed that whenever a crowd looks to me or many people see what i'm doing (atleast five or so) my hands and feet trembles, my mind doesn't go stable, and my heart beats really fast, results are stuttering, imbalance, and a blank mind.

This really prevents me from participating in contests in school for my extracurricular activies and any other stuffs. But I know that in every contest I tried to participate, I really tried my best to practice and rehearse but it all goes to waste since I coudn't face a large crowd. The thing I am also angry at it is because it prevents me from playing my favorite game Basketball, I do well in practice with my own, not to brag but I am really confident at my speed and dribbling skills. But I become really useless in an actual game, whenever i hold the ball, i can sense that everyone is staring at me and it will be in no time that someone steals the ball from me or I could not get a hold of it.

Uhhm I'm just sharing my experience and if you would give some advice it would be very much appreciated. Thank You.

Hey :D

when you do your practices and training, have you ever had someone join you or watch? obvious question, i know x) if you haven't, maybe practicing with one or two people in private, then with more and more people, steadily, and then eventually in public, would acclimatize you to being watched while you do your stuff. I dunno if it'd work, but i just wanted to make a suggestion xI hope it helps! :D

Thanks for the reps, well, I tried to participate in contests several times, but no matter how many times. I still get frightened by the too much attention
