How to overcome a inferiority complex (3)

1 Name: Duin : 2015-01-19 17:14 ID:fEkCsA5B [Del]

I am pretty sure my best friend has an inferiority complex because of me. I get better grades then them and now they constantly try to beat me in everything. They are becoming really paranoid that I am looking down on them and everytime I try to talk they think I am criticising them and speaks harshly towards me now. She was really sweet and kind but now she has become quite cruel towards me. And I never meant for this to happen. But we are slowly becoming more distant now and I don't want that to happen. We are really close and she helped me at really hard times of my life. But I don't know what to do? How can I help them get through this.

that's happened to me too before. try not to offer help but if they ask then that's fine. also if they're better at something then you can talk about that more. for my friend and me it became kind of a joke because i'm better in school but she's great at singing and dancing (which i'm hopeless at). that way you're both relying on each other instead of just them on you. i hope this helps.

Hello, first try to say that she is your best friend and that you dont want lose her. Say that she is so important for you and,
after that, show her what she is better than you(her positive points), show that ''good grades'' aren't everything and that your friendship is more important than a paranoid competition.

I hope this helps, good luck!
