New start in life (3)

My dream is to move to Manhattan (thinking of Midtown right now) and start my life over. I love my friends to death, but they have gotten boring. One friend is in a long distance relationship and always texts her when we hangout, and it feels like he is not even there. I had a girlfriend too but when I was with my friends, I was with my friends. I texted her maybe 3 times at most just to see how she is doing but that's it. I have another friend who is basically living in a bubble as his parents never let him do anything and when they do he has to be home at a certain time. Another friend actually wants to hangout but when the other two are busy we cancel since it's kind of awkward just the two of us. I have a lot of friends from my MMA gym, but they go to bars since they are all 21 or over and I am not. I would get a fake ID, but I had a bad experience getting caught and I don't want to repeat that experience. A lot of times when I do hangout with my friends, I get talked down to a lot and treated like an idiot at times by the first two I mentioned. I can take a joke, but lately it started to bug me and they even talk to me like a little kid whenever I suggest doing something fun. I'm in my 3rd year in college and I am hoping to get a job by the time senior year starts. I want to be able to afford a furnished apartment in Midtown and move their for grad school and, if I am able to, for the rest of my life. Basically, I want to meet new people and experience living like a young person should. They also have an MMA Academy, Renzo Gracie's, which is great since I want to start an MMA career after college. I've been training for a few years already so I'm no beginner. If I move, I will definitely come home frequently on the weekends to see my family and communicate with them often. Overall, I need this new start in life as I feel I'm backed into a corner. Anyone who has made a new start in life or is living in NYC, any advice? And does anyone else feel this way?

I hope this new start will be good for you. My advice is when you figure out who your true friends are don't let them go. And stay safe.

>>2 yeah I know. I will never let my friends go. But I definitely need to bring some new ones in.
