I am so not used to lying about my grades, because I always aced my tests and other academic stuff. Emphasis on aced.
But now, wow, I did not fail one subject, but two. And they were major subjects in the degree I thought I love but it turns out I absolutely hate it.
And what's worse than telling my parents? Boom, lying about it. And my aunt as well (she lives with me, parents overseas). My grades were okay, except those two subjects that can cause sore eyes. I know I've screwed up, and I am in no shape nor do I have enough balls to man up and confess. I don't want to disappoint them with two 5.00's. :(
Sooner or later, they will find out that you lied to them, so I suggest that you should just tell them right away. Man up! They won't eat you anyways. Sure they'll get mad. But that is normal. Every parent gets mad when their child fails a subject. Just do good next time and make them proud.
Are your parents doctors or something? If they are just regular parents and you fail two exams I don't think they will get mad at you... well you did lie so you might not get off the hook easily. But they know you are smart and you will do better on other test's so i'm pretty they wont mind.
The past is the past and the future will bring better news. So you can't change those grades but now you can make sure not to let it happen again. Life will throw you some curve balls. Now you have to decide whether or not to step up to the batters circle/square. (IDK, I don't play baseball.) Wishing you luck.
