I don't know how to start this so I'm just gonna jump right into it. I have never been very interested in romantic relationships with people I tried dating a boy my age once but it just made me very uncomfortable although I did have crushes on people and I enjoyed it when people had crushes on me. Anyway recently I realised that I am obsessed with infatuation. I will act and feel like I'm head over heels for someone but as soon as the feeling is mutual I get bored and move to the next person. I was wondering if this is a type sexuality and if it is please tell me what its called.

i don't know,altough i have heard of cases like that,there is no problem if you just find romantic relationship boring,just try not to hurt their feelings but if you are just loking for sex there is no reason to look for a romantic relatioship

This is a very common feeling in teens-young adults. I haven't put in any research to it but I think it might be related to Limerence. Limerence is being infatuated with some one and needing them to feel the same passion towards you. It might've branched off that feeling. "You love the thrill of the chase." You love wanting love. You're not searching for a calm romantic partner, you're just playing a game. As long as you're not being rude towards other people you should keep this feeling for as long as possible, if you're still young you don't have to worry about finding a romantic partner, and if it keeps you happy and it's not hurting anyone else there is nothing wrong with playing a game! I recommend that until you grow out of this or get over the feeling that you shouldn't try serious dating.
