Hi everyone im looking for tips on fighting depression. I have a a normal life thats pretty good but i find my self with depression for no reason in particular it just hits me out of nowhere dose anyone know how to make this stop or ways to help ignore it?

Hmm I don't think I've ever gone through depression, but when I do feel really awful about something or I am'depressed', I think of it as a storm, it will pass away.

the best way to solve depression is treatment,relaxing,anything that doesn't have something that could depress you

mmm... i never fight back but, normally i am always depressed so its rarely i am happy. BUT! that is good i think because now i know what make me smile and its something special, first, it depends of the depression, my daily depression status is for the school and my family, so when i am happy is when i am doing something out of that situation (nosmally i run away a few days and play with my friends in their houses), second and i think its more personal but i hope you can match with it is doin somekind of.... i dont know.... Hobby? for example, if you are good just playing a game, singing, dancing, etc. In my case i cant do anything, i just sit in the living room of one of my friends and listen their gossip for an hour, that makes me happy you know? listen them and see how this type of person accept to be my friend... i just think, their are seven billions of people, most of them are dying, screaming, crying and i am here in a house with nothing more to do that just hear someone talk about his pet or girlfriend, i have luck to be capable to listen this i guess... when i am in that circumstances i am happy and i forget what happens outside

Live the way you wanted. Don't care about what people said to you and be yourself. We have our own free will so, do things the way you wanted not the way others wanted. Remember, no matter what, there are still people who accept you the way you are so, CHEER UP (^_^)!!

Think positive, look on the bright side of life! If ur depression is really bad, u should consult a doctor. Here's a cute pic of Ciel to cheer u on! ^^

Depression isn't something you should ignore. Also people shouldn't have to justify their depression by how bad their life is. If you really think you're in a bad position, try going to a therapist. Surround yourself with what makes you happy and remind yourself why you want to get better.

I've experienced pretty much the same thing before (I think - you'll have to decide if this sounds similar). I have a nice life but there are moments sometimes when I just feel depressed and hopeless about everything. I find it helps to keep yourself busy. It makes your life more interesting and gives you less of a reason to be depressed.
