Considering going to Brazil (2)

1 Name: Dragonhand : 2014-12-10 19:15 ID:NHJP/vCY [Del]

Life in my country is getting kind of absurd. I've spent years studding to become a pharmacist but the salaries dropped so hard that I'm making 200 euros above the minimum wage, 500 euros. It's kind of frustrating. Wile I do enjoy a simple and steady life, having so many responsibilities with so little reward if kind of depressing.
So I'm considering doing something crazy, moving to Brazil and start a small business, cook, anything, just live.
I would be so out of my comfort zone and that is what scares me... I want to stay in Portugal, my country, but not like this.
I'm terribly afraid, and somewhat exited with the idea.
Any thoughts?

Since I'm brazilian I felt I could maybe help. I don't think you should think of moving to another country unless you know exactly what you're going to face if you do move out. First inform yourself about the country. Starting a business (especially when you are an immigrant) is difficult in any part of the world!
I just say that you look into it (if you can afford a quick trip to Brazil it would show you things that you normally don't find on websites or books). And then make a decision.
Also, if you're planning on moving out, and you barely have the money, then you're not ready. You need to have that money and something else to live at least for six months. (I know, it's obvious, but I've met people who had problems with this)

I hope you do well whatever you end up doing! n.n
