Astigmatism is really a pain in the ass, whenever i try to do something, reading something, making my drawings, doing my math assignments, I just get this headache because every text I see doubles up and get blurred. I try to study, but whenever i do, I give up because i cant stand looking at things. I failed in my other subjects because of this, the doctor said that my astigmatism was too high, a -5.00 glasses would correct my vision but I feel like floating whenever i wear them and stumble when i walk... HAAH WHAY SHOULD I DOO?

Have you had a friend/parent/teacher/sibling read to you? Or perhaps find an audiobook? Maybe you could use the 'highlight > speech' option on your computer? Talk with your doctor again about possible solutions, as they would be the ones more knowledgable, obviously.

Do the pages and the letters ever flash and strobe when you read black-on-white text? I still haven't been able to figure that one out... i would really love to be-able to read books again.
