Okay, usually i don't really do this, but this is probably going to be the first time since the stress is building up so badly.
In my Current situation, i am dating a beautiful girl, 1yr older than me (18) and in a long distance relationship- I want to be with her for Christmas, sadly i don't have the cash (im not assking for anything) and have never worked in a Part-time Job before, I would love to know what to do, and what to say in an interview, also what to write in a CV. Thats my first problem...
My second problem is the people around my girlfriend.I don't trust them- well only the guys.(I know, it's probably just me being jealous) recently her friend/ex-boyfriend asked her through facebook if they wanted to fuck....which was disgusting on my end. And i want to do something about it, i asked my girlfriend personally to stop talking to him because this is the second time he's trying to get up her pants. And if I ever visit her, i fear that, I myself might actually resort to physical violence.

Okay, you have the right to worry if her ex is asking to have sex with her O_o I'm not even old enough, never mind the experience, of getting a part-time job but let's get the common sense facts out of the way! Just imagine yourself as the manager. If I were a manager I'd expect decent clothing and manners. A nice suit and tie - they don't expect you to come in a tuxedo! (and you can't forget about hygiene. They'd appreciate a bright and happy face) Aw hell, why am I telling you all of this? This is the bloody internet, go on wikihow for all I care XD Anyways, you girlfriend should understand your feelings. You love her (asd?fghepohjkliasd) and you don't want anyone else touching her.

If I had more money I would pay for you but I'm poor right now. Sorry. I would try being straight up about it. If your worth it to her it will all be OK. Then again, I don't know much on the subject.

1) Job

First one, eh? Ah, I remember mine like it was only yesterday.

Your prime wage-slave options are in:
- manual labour (i.e. warehouses, dishwashing in cramped kitchens, etc)
- fast food
- store chains (Wal-Mart, Target, Publix/Safeway/whatever the grocery store chain is in your area rofl), or even indie supermarkets/ethnic food stores
- desk jockey work (call centres -- usually always hiring)

a) Get Your Papers in order

You need a resume. Open a blank word document; here, you are going to have a few sections: info, skills, experience, achievements, and references (Google resume formats if you want to some examples). Personal info in the header/very top -- name, address, email, phone, etc). Next, you want to list four or five skills right off the bat. Use active tense, such as: "operates efficiently and competently under pressure." Next, bullet point any of your activities or achievements that are worth mentioning. Stuff like high school clubs, honor roll, AP/IB program, volunteering at the homeless shelter or local fair, speaks a second language, special talents, hobbies etc (hide your power level though, don't exclaim "OMG LUVV MUH CHINESE CARTOONS XDDD" -- you're putting together a professional document detailing your employment eligibility, not your personal blog lol). If there's a teacher that thinks highly of you, ask said teacher if you can use them as a reference, so you can put their email in on a page seperate from the main body of the resume for bosses to hit up.

A CV is tailored to each specific job. Basically, in a paragraph you're explaining why the employer should choose YOU. Should go something like, "Dear Whoever, I am a student at Local School and am looking to apply my extra energy and enthusiasm into something productive to the ends of benefitting the community...." blah blah blahhhh. Make your argument that you're hot shit in your neck of the wood and how you could be an asset to said workplace -- just don't copy-paste everything off of your resume, CVs are meant to be short and sweet.

b) Move your ass

Now print off half a dozen resumes (CVs where applicable) and spend an afternoon pounding the pavement in your town's commercial district. You should be *relatively* presentable when meeting potential employers for the first time: no need to dress up but don't be attired like a slob either (business-casual is the way to go: collared shirt and a good pair of jeans, nice shoes etc).

You are going to walk into every business and attempt to speak to the manager. If manager is available, engage in smalltalk. If manager is busy, ask the worker if they're looking for help and engage in some smalltalk. Hand 'em a resume and give your weekly availability if they don't ask for it. Sometimes they'll give you an application to fill out on the spot.

TAKE NOTE: your chances at getting an interview will increase if you can speak to a manager. Your chances of speaking to a manager as soon as you step through the door depends on how busy the business is, so plan your job-hunting itinerary wisely. Between 2-4 is probably the best. Expect some places to turn you away with, "sorry, you have to apply online," but that's mostly what you'll hear from big companies and transnational corporations.

Fair warning, you're not gonna get a lot of callbacks, especially because you have very little experience! But that's the way it goes...perseverence WILL pay off, eventually.

c) Be a charming mofo

So you got a call, nice work champ. Come interview time, wear a pair of dress pants/slacks/skirt plus belt, a collared shirt, and leather shoes if you have 'em. Basic hygiene applies: brush and floss teeth, hair combed/brushed, ears cleaned, nails clips, facial hair trimmed up, pop a breath mint, etc etc.

It's gonna be mostly Q&A...i.e. "why do you think you'd be a good fit here?" or "what are your best qualities?" etc. It's okay to embellish your answers *slightly* but don't lie outright. It's better to admit ignorance so employers will know that you're genuine...if they can see that you're hard-working then you'll get the benefit of the doubt, which is all you need to score your first gig.

2) GF's ex

Warn him once, and once only. If boyo fails to cease and desist, and continues to act disrespectfully, you must challenge him to a duel!

Strike fast, strike hard; the one who throws the first punch usually wins, bear in mind.

Before any of that happens, try to convince your gf to block the guy. If she makes excuses, then you may have a separate problem on your hands....
