Long story short living conditions have gone from bad to worse at my house my family is abusive and dislikes me and it doesn't feel safe living there anymore there's no where else for me to go really I've tried to go to several places but the stay never lasts long but almost anywhere else that's not their feels safe . So I was wondering if anyone in or around s.f have a spare room I (a 16 year old student ) can room in for a while ? Feel free to ask any questions or leave any answers

Are your parents ok with you being gone? Do you have any siblings still at home? I'd say the best thing for you to do is contact the state. Couch hopping at 16 isn't a good thing but staying in an abusive home is just as bad.
The facts are: It's illegal to "run away from home" and you can get in trouble. If anyone over the age of 18 is helping you it can be considered kidnapping. Those two things wont matter if your parents don't report you missing and if you keep up in school so that they don't get involved. If you have younger siblings at home FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T LEAVE THEM THERE ALONE! It may be bad for you, but as the older one you should stay to protect them! Gather evidence, and report your parents to the state. Just stay there until the little ones are to safety. If you don't have any siblings, then ignore that last bit ^^'

Although I don't really think this is the place to be discussing this. OP, please get some help. Call a family support line. Tell them what you're going through, ask for advice, and see if they can use their connections to get an investigation done to get you out of there legally. These are more for couple abuse, but they should be able to direct you to the right people to talk to:

This website has California's main hotline for domestic abuse: http://www.cpedv.org/Resources%20A%20K
This is for the national hotline: http://www.thehotline.org/
You can also report child abuse in Cali here:
