Hey guys, I've got a project me and my magnet are doing. We have to make a video for our project and I want some ideas for what to do for our video. Our question we have to answer in our project is why are trees important to you, your community and school? So I want some ideas.

When I was little I had a play-set but I never enjoyed playing on it that much, instead I would play in the trees in my backyard I would climb them and pretend that I could escape into another world. I especially loved this particular weeping willow tree. As I got older they did become my escape whenever I was upset. One winter the weeping willow tree I loved was destroyed and became impossible to climb. However, as the seasons passed and when summer came despite losing my world of escape I found the tree to look even more beautiful because after it was practically destroyed it had still stayed strong and continued to grow and became the home of many animals and insects. My refuge and become someone else's refuge. This is why I love trees because they are strong and will always be evolving and growing no matter what happens to them. This is why trees are so important to me.

>>1 magnet?

It's fall now, right. In the fall, trees make nature beautiful with it's red and yellow leaves, which makes me happy if I have a bad day, because it cheers me up. Seriously, include some pictures of the fall leaves in your video, it'll be beautiful.

However, this feels really shallow compared to >>2..

I'll be that smartass who points out the obvious: We need trees in order to breath

>>3 I don't want to get off topic but I just wanted to say that I don't think what you said was shallow. I actually love autumn and it's my favorite season and I love to step on the fallen leaves and hear them crunch. In addition, I agree that autumn leaves should be included in the video.

>>1 I actually forgot to leave a suggestion for what you could do for the video. I know this may be a bit difficult but you could have a video of a tree growing from a seed and have it growing throughout the seasons while in the background you could state what people think about trees. I don't know I just thought that might be interesting but I don't know how you would accomplish that. I f you can't get a video of a time lapse maybe you or someone you know would be wiling to draw a time lapse of a tree growing.

Thanks for the ideas, I can tell them to my magnet advisor. Oh and magnet is what my whole 8th grade does >>3, it a group of people who stick together and do stuff together, and we also have a kind of topic that we stick too, for example, my magnet is the live-it-green magnet. I know that is not a really good definition of it but I tried, and also thanks for the ideas guys.
