1 Name: Dondo : 2014-09-29 18:38 ID:U9ymLm3j [Del]

I'm a fairly new cosplayer, my next cosplay being Kida Masaomi. Just wondering if there are any other cosplayers.

I'm new at cosplaying, its really fun don't be too shy everyone doing the same and I mean they feel like friends you knew forever how fun it is. I was Misa Amane b/c I had lots of gothic clothes and blonde hair my friend made the Death Note for me. She cosplayed as Germany from Hetalia. Then I was Gumi another day b/c I bought the green hair wig. I also have short white hair wig now too, could plan who I would be next. Cosplaying as Gumi was really fun too and my other friend was Rin Kagamine. She was Miku the other time she wasn't the one that made the Death Note. The Attack on titan, Duararar and Hetalia crew was hanging with me and my friends more for some reason it was a weird anime cross over thing lol. Having too much fun talking about it but it was great. ^.^ Cosplay you'll have fun!

I've been cosplaying for almost a year now, so I'm kind of new to it, too. The next cosplay I have planned as "main project" right now is for January, which is going to be Izaya Orihara (after a friend suggested we go together as Izaya and Shizuo in the funniest way possible).
So yeah, have fun cosplaying, and if anyone ever dares say anything bad about any of your cosplays, don't let it get into you! Cosplay is a form of art, and there's no 'right' or 'wrong' in art!

got this from some artcile: "Cosplay is a way to express oneself without being yourself."
I kinda like how it sounds and it inspired me even more. I'm also new to cosplaying since I've just started a few months ago. Best of luck to all your cosplays guys and let's all have fun.
P.S.: My next cosplay will be Suzuya from Tokyo Ghoul. :)

Yo yo yo! I'm a cosplayer, lol. Anyways, I just got back into it after a year. Recently I've been cosplaying Seragaki Aoba from Dramatical Murder so yeah. ^^

Good luck on your cosplays!

I really like cosplaying as gijinka, or humanoid versions of non-humanoid characters. Everyone interprets what they should look like as a human differently, so there's really no right or wrong, and it's a lot of fun to design. It can also be really simple, or complicated, depending on what you want. I made a humanoid GLaDOS cosplay out of some shiny material, some old computer cords, and some painted cardboard boxes strapped to my arms with cut up black socks. And it still looked really quite good, if I may say so myself. I got a lot of praise from people about it, too.
I've also been a humanoid dalek from Doctor Who, using a grey skirt and tshirt from savers and some polystyrene balls :)

There's a cosplaying thread in Random, for the record.
