Hello. Pretty soon I will be a freshman in high school. I've heard rumors that Highschool is horrible, and that it is awesome. Any advice or suggestions from experienced people?

Make sure you make friends that relate to you. So if you like anime find people who like it to. Always be yourself, dont try to be someone your not.

Hard cold truth, it's crazy. I swear though there will be points where it feels like it's getting easier. TREASURE those moments. Appreciate whatever nice teachers you have, and DON'T let anybody bully you. If you run into trouble, TALK TO SOMEBODY. Talking will be your best friend sometimes. Your next best friend, besides your actual best friend who you eat lunch with, will be your pencil. And to make those two
best-ies meet, you'll need your brain. You're gonna think soooo much your head will hurt. Of course, it really depends on the kind of student you are. If you're like me, tired, easily depressed, willing to work but not smart enough, this will be your high school life times 10. Of course, I'll be living in that times 10, (even though I hate math, just thought I throw in a pun there XD) and you can give the dollars a click if you need help with anything. If you're NOT LIKE ME, this will be sooo easy for you, and your worst of complications will be relationships and emotional struggles with friends AND yourself. Good luck, with whatever path you venture onto.

Keep your cool, enjoy yourself, and do things you want to do. If there's an Anime club at your school, but you are "too cool" to join it or you don't want to be associated with some people there, fuck it. Clubs are a very good thing, and if one catches your eye, please don't hesitate.

I'm a senior, and I have to admit high school hasn't been absolutely amazing but it's been great. It's just like anywhere really. Sure you might have some ups and downs, meeting new people and making new friends, while probably losing old friends. It's just life. Drama happens but you can't let it get you down. If you do, you'll only be more miserable. So make new friends, be nice to teachers, GET TO KNOW YOUR COUNSELOR. They help you more than you can imagine.
Academically wise, stay on top of things, because trust me it won't be fun if you fall behind.

Don't worry about high school. Take your time and don't rush, because time certainly flies. I feel like it was only yesterday that I too was a freshman, and now I only have a year left until graduation. It's scary but I'm sure you'll be alright ;)

You dont have to do anything you dont want to. Never let anyone pressure you. I suggest you concentrate on getting through highschool. Theres way too many risks with having sex during your HS years.

highschool is when... you'll experience all kinds o things; like vices, relationships etc.

just focus on your studies, avoid reltionships IF POSSIBLE :)

Don't give into peer pressure.
Relationships really complicate things, I went through high school without dating anyone (granted it was a small school).
Keep in mind your future plans, don't stress about them but just slowly come up with a general idea of what you what for the future as you go through high school.
Make to-do lists.
Get enough sleep!!
