Story then a question (5)

It was 8th grade, there was a awkward internet, anime, and gaming boy (me) and a pretty, sociable, sporty, gamer girl. We both somehow began to talk through the topic of video games then we slowly became friends, and as expected I began to realize my own feelings within the year. I no longer looked forward to my future as a adult, but looked forward to each class we shared and each conversation between us. I had never felt these feelings before.

Some time after this, a friend of mine I had trusted dragged me and my crush together then revealed my feelings. I'm someone who is based on planning and thinking through situations so I was helpless in this situation and I panicked and, in the most embarrassing moment of my life, ran away due to betrayal, shock, and confusion. A few days later there was a dance and she said I should go, so of course I began planning immediately (as is my nature) After a few further failures on the day of the dance I realized I was defeated. This all occurred quite a time ago. I've gone to sleep every night and remembering all the mistakes I've made and all the things that I had overlooked. She has a boyfriend now so that is the main reason for my question...
The question that I can't answer. What do I do to get rid of these feelings?

It also happened to me to overthink the situation and my mistakes.
My advice is to let go.It is in the past and you can't change it.Also, don't be so hard on yourself. It's your friend who dragged both of you in that awkward situation.I'm not blaming your friend,he just wanted to help and this was the best way in his opinion. What I'm trying to say that there are things that happen without our will and we're not responsible for them.

Anyways, you should follow the advice of >>2 and just let it go.
It was middle school, and even if you fell in love with that girl, it would only end in young heartache and your tears.
Trust me.
We've all been in love with at least two or three girls from high school, girls we thought were the best, and now they mean nothing.
It's just how life works.
Move on, pal.

If you truly love her let her go. But you should stay close by her as well in case she need support or advice. I understand how you feel. Something similar happened to me too. But it's life. There is nothing you can do about it.

Pulling that stuff doesn't help, believe me, and that doesn't really apply unless he had her in the first place...

You can't really get rid of those feelings unless you just forget about her, or the situation.... either way, sorry about all that...
