okay, I finished school 2 months ago, I'm starting high school next month and just now I realized that once the new school year starts, I won't go to school with all those people I spend so many years with, the teachers will be different, the classrooms will be different and everything will just change!!! I'm so freaked out! I don't want everything to change!!! Not when I just started getting to know the people form the other classes a little better!!! I just realized what an awesome generation we were and it's over???? Why??? I want more years with these people! Why do we have to go our own ways? Can someone please help me cope with all this??

It might seem like the end of the world. But trust me. it isnt. You'll make new friends just like you did in middle school, maybe you'll even see a lot of the friends you had. Its not the end of the world, youre just starting a new chapter in your life . Remain calm and dont stress out on something thats not really worth your stress. In the end, its just going to be you. Everyone has to go their own way. Don't worry so much about it. Everything is going to be fine . Hoped this helped atleast a little.

I know how you feel. This also happened to me before I started high school.8th grade might've been the best year in middle school.Everyone in my class finally seemed to get along really well. Then almost all of us were going to go to different high schools.I was pretty lucky 'cause 2 other classmates (one of them being a really close friend) got accepted in the same highschool with me.
But,when high school started and I made new friends I noticed everything isn't so bad as I expected. Most of the people in my actual class are nicer than the ones I had in middle school.
However,I kept in touch with some of classmates, not all of them.

What I'm trying to say is that , even if it seems scary at the beginning , everything will be alright once highschool starts and you get to know your new classmates.People come and people go.This way you'll realize that the ones who stay are the ones who truly matter. :)

>>1 I understand how you feel. I've moved a lot and one of the school I went to was a middle school that had about 4 other elementary schools aside from my own that all went to it.
The best thing for you to do is stay calm, maybe someone you know will be there too, like >>2 and >>3 said, things may be better than your middle school year and stressing will make things worse than they actually are. Keep an open mind about the people in your class because a lot of them may feel the same as you. Keep an optimistic view as well. Think to yourself the first day "I am going to have a good day, I will meet new friends, and I will have fun.", it usually helps you be less stressed and if you put all your optimism into it, a lot of the time, the day will be great. Don't stress and think of the absolute worse things because it will change your mindset and people will notice and may not want to approach you. Stay relaxed, calm, and optimistic, don't lose a friendly demeanor either.
I wish you luck and find my advice helpful!
