This is my first post, and it is something that means a lot to me. I've known I was gay for at least 2 years now , and I already have a boyfriend. The thing is I just don't know how to come out to my family. I know they're perfectly fine with me being gay, but it just seems so difficult. My bf already came out to his family, and he lives in Texas. I live in basically the gayest state, Massachusetts, and I just can't seem to tell them. I've tried many times to come out, and every time I just freeze up. The one main reason why I want to come out is to have my boyfriend come up or me to go down there so we could finally meet irl. If anyone has any tips or something that could help me, it would be greatly appreciated

In order to tell your parents, its just it; just say it. The reason that it hard could be due to the fact that, deep down, you have the fear of being rejected. Simply tell them openly. If you really believe that they would not mind you being gay, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
