Where does racism come from? (9)

I'm currently doing a research report on the sins of humanity. But one topic that keeps coming up is racism, hate, discrimination, but where does it come from. The common idea is that it is learned, but that can't be the only place it originated from. why do certain citizens of society think they are more or less compared to others. One of my main research subjects are hate groups which try to justify and explain the hate but ultimately there is no excuse for their bigotry. I want your opinion on this dreadfully ugly topic.

I think the reason why is because those muthafuckas lives suck and because their shitty lifestyles which are caused by their crappy choices. so instead of growin some balls and ownin up to there decisions they blame every one that aint like them.

>>1 research human nature. If humans are inherently evil then all those 'sins' are supposedly natural actions and customs. There are also theories that humans are not evil but are corrupted by society instead. Hopefully this gives you some ideas :3

Their environment, their upbringing, and past experiences. Racism and hate in general is usually learned/taught. Everyone has different reasons. Some might have grown up in an area with a certain race, they might have gotten many bad experiences from it, they then turn their anger towards the race as a whole. Others might have picked it up from their parents or friends. etc etc.

You can't be born a racist. Racism is always learned/taunt. Just like most things.

Ignorance.

When there is little known about an entire race of people, instead of finding out information from them, fear usually causes people to make up information on their own based on limited observation. Racist beliefs are most often based on some fact or another, but with a very selective perception or misconstruction. This is what is taught down generations. These beliefs, if left to their own, greatly affect interactions with that race of people.

That is what I believe causes it.

But what if someone out of the blue becomes a racist? What's the cause of that.

lol it's nature
People are programmed to initially distrust those that are different.

The way I see it, racism is just an extension of the basic xenophobic instinct we all have. Ignorance and misinformation also have large roles, like >>5 said.

I think it comes from the fact that different races, are well... Different. Some people can't stand when people aren't exactly like they are, because they are self-centered bastards. *cough cough* So if there were let's say.... 20 people that were Mexican, and one person that was Chinese, that one person, would be different from everyone else, and therefore, judged by their race. Although the only difference is their race, people still find the need to judge them even though it really isn't fair.
