It seems not matter what i do all my friends ditch me and make false promises... I have tried making new friends but that hasnt worked either. :(

Ask yourself - why do they ditch you?
If your answer is immediately blaming the others or immediate self deprecation ("I'm not good enough", "No one cares about me" etc.) it's worth sitting down and making a few evaluations.
Simple fact of the matter is people are assholes. All of us. It's just how we are. And you're no different. Some people are just horrible, yes, but if it's a recurring issue then it's time to think that maybe the problem is you. I have no idea how you interact with these people, I'm just making an observation.
A lot of the time, the problem's not with everyone else. People just don't want to see that it might be their own shortcomings.
Have you been a good friend to these people? I don't want an answer, I just want you to think about it.
If you think that yes, you have been a good friend and you don't question that any further, if you can't find the times where you have definitely been a bad friend, then you're lying to yourself. We all have our faults. Don't be so in denial that you can't admit them to yourself. If you find that you haven't been a good friend at all, well, that blame lies with you and you solely.
