So I am a little guilty I feel like I betrayed my best friend. Two of my friends unbeknownst to me had a falling out sometime ago.One of them was my best friend who had moved away. I stayed in contact with her and when she came back earlier this week I told her about my romantic interest in our other friend. It was then she had told me (without going into to detail about why) how she and our friend had become mortal enemies. She accepts that I like this girl and even gave her reluctant blessing when I asked for it. But I could tell she was not happy about it and maybe even feeling a little betrayed.

I guess I am asking you guys if I am wrong for this?

That's not betrayal. Their issues have nothing to do with you. If one chooses to dislike you because you like the other, they were never your true friend in the first place and shouldn't be minded.
