I felt awful about it but I knew my decision was the right one, it wasn't just hard, it was literally impossible, not just for me but for the rest of the class as well, and I found out that I really didn't need the course. You shouldn't quit things because they're just hard. If you need the math course then take it, if it's hard then try harder, get a tutor, watch tutorials on YouTube. I actually thought the same thing when I first started calculus, limits were killer and I had a tough time with them but I kept going, now I actually like calculus.
