Basically my friend who lives in Virginia is in a situation where she could end up getting thrown on her ass in the streets. She's having trouble finding a job and her roommates are getting very impatient and are even going to raise the rent or something like that and she's not even able to provide any money to begin with. I would offer her a place to stay but I have no way of getting her over here not to mention I highly doubt my Dad would be cool with it. [Maybe something lucky will happen. I dunno man but for now things look grim]

So I was wondering if anyone had any advice I could pass over to her. Advice on maybe alternative places to look for jobs or maybe some tips to living on the streets if it comes to that. Anything would be appreciated.

One thing that stood out to me though is that you 'highly doubt' your father would be ok with it...better to ask someone and be turned down than never ask at all. After that, getting here to you shouldn't be a problem unless you live in different countries. But maybe you have other concerns, such as, if she did stay with you she wouldn't help out thus causing your dad to be in disagreeance with her. Then in that case, the problem really lies with her and she really needs to evaluate her choices/mentality. Perhaps she really could find a job, but is choosing not to. Ask her: What jobs has she applied for? Is there anything preventing her from getting one? At the very least, help her find work online, and if it comes to it, homeless shelters.
