I guess it started when my mom saw I was liking atheist pages on Facebook. She didn't sound really pissed off, but she wasn't too thrilled either, then she spouyed this bull shit about athiest going to hell. Then,when she noticed I took my bibles out of my room, she threatend to burn my fox suit(I'm a furry btw). I just felt like I'd rather give them to someone who's going to get more use from them than me. Then, at one point, it sounded like she was supporting the ban on gay marrage. i'm not gay, but I know what it's like to be denied certain privlages because the way you were born. I was born with cerebral palsy. I tell her I want to get away from her and live on my own, but she talks like I can't unless I can walk. I've seen people without arms and legs do a hell of alot more than I can do, so why can't I?

It's okay to think differently than your parents, and your religion is your business, but maybe you shouldn't be publicly announcing the fact that your atheist on Facebook.
Anything is possible, you just have to work for it is all.

Im an atheist too, and stay strong! she has to right to be unset over what you believe in, or what you dont. and "burning your fox suit"? thats a bit aggressive. and yes, if you are an adult you should leave if you want to. you can do it! :) dont let her hold you back. and no it isnt sad, ive never told my parents i love them and theyve never told me. but thats ok haha because i really dont love them.
