Ehh.. I'm 17 year old, male, and I lead a very uninteresting life. The reason why I can't communicate with others properly is not because I cannot speak (social anxiety) but it is because I have literally nothing to say, I could even go into a chatroom online and find that I have nothing to say. I had chances to make close friends but they were all diminished merely because of lack of communication, being myself, I don't reach others, I never try to, and that's how I've always been, I've lived in the same place for all my 17 years of life and I do not have a 'childhood friend' figure. I'm not encouraged to do anything, but I'm capable of sheer work; My grades in school qualify me to do anything, but there's nothing I want to do. I don't like where I live and I don't like living with my family. The thing is, I'm not emotionless, but I'm not sad about anything mentioned there, none of it really irks me like that. If I could sum it up, I feel like I'm in a standby-mode that's endless. I am not interested in anything. I am not motivated by anything. I don't love anything. I told my parents I want to study abroad for college hoping for a spark, but I don't think it'll change anything.. Sorry for turning this into a diary page, but I wanted to write this down and see comments if there's any.. Excuse me.

Now most 17 year olds living average lives aren't that interesting, myself included. But good communication skills come from being able to communicate with little material easily. Like all skills, communicative skills require a lot of practice therefore you shouldn't get so discouraged.
Focus on finding things that you love to do, finding those things maybe be hard at times, but just remember never give up on finding happiness ^^ I hope that helps.

Although I am younger than you, I feel we have a lot of similarities. I have social anxiety and I have a boring life. I'm not really interested in anything and I can't decided what to do with my future, I also have grades where I could do alot. One thing is I try being emotionless as possible because it helps me get past fights in my family.

I'm not really sure what to say to this but I do relate a lot to you too. Have you seen Nabari? You'll probably be able to relate a lot to Miharu (whose probably my favourite anime character because of this). There's nothing more I can say really. Life's just like that. Your best hope is probably to find someone who you share a special bond with.

maby you should try to open up more. the trick is to lison to what someone is saying and give feed back. try it with your family,evn if it causes an argument it's still communicating. treat it as reserch. or probably you need a vacation,try going to the seashore for a few weeks

well you always have friends here no matter where we are doesnt matter we will always support you you shouldnt think that way go on in life succeed and become better than others lead a happy life one step at a time and always remember your friends are always waiting here and a good day to you sir.

You have things to say, seeing how big your message is... The point of the dollars Is to meet up people... As long as you have things to write down, we will happily read and answer, and therefore... Communicate :)
