The most awkward question. How do you explain to a a child where babies come from? I babysit a kid of two parents who seem to do it from the book. It's creepy how controlled they have this kids life. Their scared of raising him the wrong way that they've become those awkward parents you see on TV who have every detail of the kids day planned out and seem to love him from behind a glass barrier. Poor Kid. They have decided it's time from the kid to find out about reproduction. They think a young teenager (me) should be the one to explain how reproduction works. He's 9 and home-schooled so he was never around those delinquent kids in elementary who helped you figure it out, Meaning I gotta explain the whole enchilada. How the hell do you explain the most awkward conversation in the most un-awkward way to an awkward child without getting his awkwardly controlling parents mad for explaining it what they deem 'to inappropriate'?

I'm kinda surprised they didn't just wait till he was at least 13.

Reproduction is completely natural and is how species make "babies", the process of making babies is called sex and that leads to pregnancy. It takes place between a male and a female. But just because sex is natural doesn't mean it's okay to do it all the time, you should wait until you're married.

Say that he was the result of his parents love. That they loved each other so much that He was born from that. I guess a better explanation, talking about sex and reprodution only will be solved when he get a little more mature about his thoughts.

Why oh why would they make you do it?

Just tell them that it's the parents' responsibility, not yours. You obviously aren't very comfortable with going about it, and if they can't respect that, well, that's a different issue to be worked out.

the parents shoud do it. but just keep it as simple as possible.
