Hello everyone, while this question may not be as tragic or upsetting as the ones that typically make it into this thread; it will nonetheless prove a mix of basic yet complex and will no doubt cause some interesting replies if there are many.
I am nearly 20 years old, and as a way of making some extra cash I have decided to become a "freelance consultant" by starting with a few of my friends, giving them advice on certain things (novel writing, fashion, drug problems, cognitive enhancements, etc.) and telling them that if they help me get "out there" I will pay them a 20% profit from whatever I make off of the person they introduce to me.
The problem is, while this may seem somewhat effective, it is only viable as a partial solution. Do any of you, possibly more social, Dollars have any ideas on how to attract more customers?
Oh, yes, I should also mention that I charge very little because my target demographic are young adults and teenagers who are inexperienced in the world or college and need an "edge" of some sort.

>>1 I guess it's a good idea, you could try making a facebook page, advertise around and such. Put up a few ads here and there. :3

Oh right, a facebook page.
I considered a blog or an actual website, but I forgot that people still used facebook for those things too.
Maybe not ads though, I'm starting off small and so I'm not charging much for my services and that would make paying for ad space difficult. I would like to mention, in case anyone has come to the conclusion, that I'm not some random high school junior looking to make a few extra bucks for some snacks or whatever; I am simply starting off small in order to spread around easier before I grow into something larger and more sustainable.
