In a Bit of a Pickle... (8)

I generally don't like asking people for help or advice, but I think I've gotten to the point where I need to. Last August I broke my knee and had to quit both of my jobs, and now that it's all healed up and I'm off the cane and crutches, I can't seem to land a job. Since I had to quit my jobs I started dipping into my savings to pay my bills, and it even got to the point where I had to start dipping into my tax money to pay my bills which got me in the problem I'm in. Taxes are due in about 2 months and I don't have the money to pay them. I don't want to ask my friends or family to lend me money to pay my taxes as I haven't even told them of the problem I'm in. My usual day is going to places I've applied to and talking to managers about working there in the mornings, sending out more applications in the afternoon, and playing my guitar for money on street corners and any place that will pay me to play in the evenings. Do any of you guys have any kind of advice or any ideas that could help me out? Anything that could help will be appreciated.

Don't be afraid of asking your friends and family. They are always there for you. Whether you need financial, physical, or emotional support. I'm sure your friends would be able to help you if they can. And your family will help you to the best of their ability.
I can't say much about getting a job (I am a bit young for it) but I know that your family and friends can help you.
Just ask them.
I'm sure you're going through hard times now.
So ask for their helping hand.
And get back on your feet.
Then repay their kindness with your's in their time of need.

>>3 I would ask my family but my dad is having a hard time paying the bills right now and I don't wanna drop this on him too. I've been wanting to move out so he wouldn't have to worry about paying for me too. But I guess I could ask other family members, maybe they have some work that I could do, I just don't feel right asking them for help with something like this.

>>1 Honestly, you could do a whole number of things to temporarily solve your problems, like quick loans and stuff like that but what you really should do is swallow your pride and ask your friends and family. Don't be afraid to do that! That's what they're there for, to help you when you're in need.

>>6 it's not really a pride thing, it's that my family is kinda tight on money too and I don't want to burden them with my money issues. I thought about taking out a loan to cover my taxes for now because I'm not short by too much, I'm just worried about the interest adding up a lot while I find a job

Guardian-san, I'll agree with my fellow Dollars... Tell your family about these problems of yours is important. Even if they're not in such a good situation, it is on these times family proves they're what they are. Make a promisse to yourself and for them if they help you, to repay every single coin once you can get a proper job. When you just start to dig into your trouble, you need a hand from outside to get out, once it is too deep.
