How do you dress and why?
Do you dress for comfort, style, work, efficiency or other and what does your personal choice of wardrobe say about you?

>>1 this thread could be interesting.
Hmm I dress with neutrality, I don't dress to stand out or to show off, mainly because it's mostly for school and frankly I don't want to draw unnecessary attention towards myself. It's neat and comfortable, not lazy and messy.
However, if I could dress any way that I wanted, I'd probably dress lolita style :3

Plain? o( ̄- ̄メ) or comfort?
I usually use dark color t-shirt, straight jeans, and sneakers.
Sometimes i use jacket or hoodie. Hehe.. it took about 5 minutes to wear. So i can save some time before went to college.
( ̄(エ) ̄).. another benefit, it wasn't too stand out or too much yet pleasing for the eyes \(o ̄∇ ̄o)/

Wardrobe? I must say it was well organize ♪(ノ´∀`*)ノ

i wear whatever I pull out of my dresser that day.

yeah, I'm that kind of person.

I like to where black :3 Black sweatshirt and black cargo jeans but I would also like a black trench coat though.

My makeup is dolly style. Circle lens and falsies (upper and lower) every day.

Hair and clothes are rather rock/VK style lately.

Personally I have a philosophy when it comes to fashion: "Dress in a way that makes you look as if you're the main character of your own story."
As such I prefer a personal take on "smart casual." I enjoy dress pants since they're more comfortable than jeans and essentially glorified pajama bottoms, a button front shirt is nice and helps me look taller. That being said I occasionally will wear a long sleeved tee shirt underneath a suit. This way I can control the attention brought to me and keep it in case I ever need to show off.

8 Name: Ephatu : 2014-02-04 02:34 ID:FRLsG/qs [Del]

I dress how I feel comfy. I am genderqueer (both male and female) and I dress how I feel best in. I dress up in a plaid shirt, long top, pants/leggings and a scarf mostly. But when I feel like it, I dress up like a punk. But I live at a campus, so I sometimes wear pajama-pants to school...

I wish to dress up in a suit but because I was born as a biological girl, I am mostly kicked out from men's stores or directed in the women's section. I steal my brother's clothes mostly, like his leather jacket.

>>7 That style fits you very well (if I am honest, you look handsome.)

9 Name: Chreggome : 2014-02-04 06:58 ID:nl8+Yzhg [Del]

>>8 I am so fucking sick of this genderqueer bullshit.

Anyways, I dress like a fucking fag with no sense of style.
Unless I want to look fucking sharp or make some money.
Then I dress like the fucking man.

>>9 So, what exactly is your opinion on that matter? I didn't quite catch it.

I dress in a suit every day when I go to school. The teachers assume I care about school enough to dress for it, so they give me better marks over-all and are fairer markers. In reality, it makes me feel more powerful and it gives me a reason to be on the outside of the school system as an observer looking in.

I've gotten lazy and don't have any particular style since no one at my school knows the difference between a suit and a fucking sports jacket. They assume a dress shirt and tie is a suit.

>>10 Not relevant enough to derail the thread.

Let's let that discussion be put where it belongs.

This thread is about fashion.

In response to the other part of your post, it really bothers me when people where blazers or sports coats over t-shirts.
Drives me up a wall.

I just dress in whatever feels comfy.

I usually dress nice, but to be honest I have no preference on fashion styles and consider my outfits to be my own version of smart casual.
Even in that above picture in the grey blazer, my button front shirt was still short-sleeved. Also if I happen to like the color of a particular tee-shirt I'll wear that under my slim-fit blazer and black suit pants with no problem

14 Name: Mycroft : 2014-02-04 15:22 ID:GPpNIWok [Del]

I should note that I'll wear jeans when the weather is raining or snowing, but I prefer suit pants. In that picture above it had been a fairly crappy day, so I wasn't able to wear the matching black dress pants.

15 Name: AliceBossell : 2014-02-04 23:58 ID:g6Cwahsv [Del]

I have a school standardized shirt I have to wear so I can't really style myself. But I enjoy wearing medium shirts and dark skinny jeans with my running shoes.

On breaks and weekends I either wear men's clothes or things along the lines of larger.

Lastly there are days i do my makeup all crazy and make myself look cool and creepy. I ain't one who likes standing out but i love it.

I usually dress for comfort. If it's just a normal day I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt, but if I'm going out it'll be a shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of skinny jeans and fancy shoes.
I'm also a little ocd with my hair. It's either wavy and messy or straightened.

Comfortable clothiing and sometimes, I try to dress with a bit of style :D

21 Name: Fazeon : 2014-03-25 04:12 ID:Ox7Cg6Yf [Del]

Plain shirt and jeans. Boom.

Honestly, style never mattered much to me. I mean I care if I look like a complete mess, but I don't want to look like I'm trying to hard either. So yeah. Random plain shirt and jeans. Then a jacket.

Depends completely on my mood

I don't really have a personal favorite in style, but I usually like to wear geeky clothing :P

I've started wearing a suit to school like RollyPolly suggested. It's actually pretty nice. No one at my school knows anything about suit culture either, though, so I can pretty much do whatever I want. I think it looks nice.

25 Name: Kazehachi !V/vi9gujn6 : 2014-03-25 15:27 ID:MxGKOHxf [Del]

For me it depends on my mood. If it's for college I go for either jeans with a cardigan and a t shirt, or a button down. I try not to dress sloppy when I go out, as I don't want to give off the impression that I am lazy. If it's out with friends I dress in a less conservative fashion.
