Sometimes it's better to just go, "fuck it, I'll keep it private for now" until you're around people who will actually tolerate it. If you're in highschool and cross-dressing then you are not going to have a fun time.

When I first saw this quote, I sat for a very long time wondering just how true it holds.

I don't fully understand the idea of "boy's" clothes and "girl's" clothes. Really, it makes no sense. There's nothing about an object that makes it male or female. The only gender identity of an inanimate object is that which is projected on it by people. If you know who YOU are and are comfortable wearing the clothing others have projected as wrong for you, well forget them YOUR opinion is the one that matters. If they can't handle you liking what you like, it's their issue.

It isn't wrong, by any respects, to be a cross-dresser. However you must be somewhat aware of your capability at it.
Occasionally I'll see a cross-dresser that literally looks like a lanky guy that threw on some make-up and a woman's clothes, and it almost seems like that'd be insult to more devoted cross-dressers.

I imagine there are many ways of doing it, but it just strikes me as lazy when people dedicate themselves so weakly.

i'm a girl,and i like waering boys cloths cause they are more comfortable,i hate dresses and such.their is no reson why you shouldn't be able to wear the cloths you feel comfortable in.

Crossing dressing isn't wrong, I don't see I reason why it would be. Now as I say this I know many people think It's wrong, but come on what do people not think is wrong now and days? Now as for the bullying, I mean let's face it kids will bully people for anything now and days. Also if dressing in male/female clothing makes you feel more comfortable, then go for it! Anyways even if you stop kids will probably remembered that you used to crossdress so there's really no point.

I've noticed in society today that for girls, it's pretty acceptable to wear clothes originally made for males. No one can really tell gender from usernames nowadays, so I don't know what you are, but to me, it doesn't really matter. People should be free to do, or in this case wear, what they want.

It's not wrong to cross-dress, and no one should be judged based on what they're wearing and, 'if it's for their gender or not'.
If you look at it that way, then you should be yourself.
But, it's also a sad truth that people may bully you or tease you if you do cross-dress, so sometimes, it might be best to hide it until you find people who'll accept you. Even though you should be allowed to wear what you want, if it's bringing you pain then you don't need to continue to do it, at least not in public.
But if you WANT to wear it, despite what people say, and if you think you can handle it, then by all means, wear what you like and walk proudly.
But if you don't want to be teased, then I'd suggest this- while around the people that will tease you, or when you go places where you think people might tease you, wear gender-neutral clothes, that way people can't call you out for cross-dressing, but you're still wearing things that don't make you uncomfortable.
And in places where you're comfortable, like a home, or if you're going somewhere where people won't tease you for it, wear what you want to wear. Eventually, you'll find people who accept that you cross-dress, and you'll be able to do it whenever, wherever.
Also, never, NEVER, think that it is 'wrong'. I'd like to make it perfectly clear that cross-dressing is in no way wrong, it's just that people are douchebags, and want to pick on whoever they can.

Moral of the story- do what YOU feel comfortable with.

YOU DRESS THE WAY YOU WANT TO DRESS!!!! sometimes i go to school in full out kimonos and dress like anime characters and my friend likes to attach tails to the back of her pants and wear cat ears. sure people call us freaks but it makes us happy and they just mad cuz they aint got no pop tarts.

I say just wear what ever makes u comfortable and if that happens to be the opposite genders clothes then so be it.
And say all bullies to "get a life. Cause if they have to come to pick on me they must not have one!"

Ahem, if you have bullies picking you on the way you dress, I'd guess you're pretty young (even 17 to 20 is dead young).

Cross dressing isn't bad, but knowing that you can be picked on it, it would make think to keep to my privacy and when the time come, to just enjoy it.

I have a thing for suits, all my friends were just like: really ? It's a bit overdressed?

The question was more, should I feel ashamed for being overdressed, or them for not being elegant enough? Since then, I know I love my clothes and how I wear them.... But the time was right too: my friends are open minded, I see people with the same kind of spirit as me.

All I'm saying is you can cross dress, make sure you do it for yourself, when you're confident about it
