so my best friend and i have been bffs for years and we are always together and really close. she knows me better than anyone else and i know her better than anyone. we are closer than sisters and people call her my "other half." haha but ive realized a few months ago that i dont actually love her...in fact most of the time i feel annoyed around her. why? i have no reason to! shes a great friend and i feel so frustrated with myself and confused. i WANT to love her because she deserves it and it would break her heart if she knew i didnt love her back. (as a friend) but in 5th grade, i had another bff who ended up abandoning me and made me fall into a major depression (a lot of other things were going on too) but i really did love her. i know i did. ive never loved anyone more than my 5th grade bff and even now, i still do. we got over our fight but we dont really talk anymore. but i still feel extremely attached to her, even more than my bff now. (im in 11th grade now) so i guess my quetion is, why can i so easily forgive and forever truely love my childhood bff but dont love my current bff who i have no reason to feel so annoyed around? sorry...i guess this is a stupid selfish problem haha. i know, i feel very spoiled and selfish when im so lucky to have a great friend and i dont love her. idk why...i feel so frustrated. i want to make myself love her back. anyone know why i just dont love her? when i should? thanks...
>>7 If you don't like her, you don't like her. Who cares? Just because you're friends with her doesn't mean you have to end up dating her. Everyone has friends they like who they have no intention of ever going out with. It's just life.
