WHAT SHOULD I DO? (3)

hello everybody,i am in some sort of situation now where i dont know what to do ....so i hope that you can give me some advice.
so here is the story...
For some unknown reason after i got back to school i saw my whole bag wet which according to the bunch of guys in my class Person A did it. He threw my bag on the floor which broke my water bottle and cause my whole bag to be wet and the worst part is that water went into my phone which make it unable to function. Beside that,my text books and my note book is all wet and crumbed (because of the water)
Now,here the questions.
should i just let it be and be satisfied that my phone will be fixed?
or should i tell a teacher? hoping that they can solve it.
But really, whats the point of telling the teachers when they most likely wont do anything?
But then again, the phone is new. i havent even used it for 4 full month.to be exact, 3 month and 15 days.
Then again , what can person A actually do to make up for it since it is his fault and beside i dont even know is it really him or someone else (there might be a chance that he is being sabotage)

this is a complicated matter and i don't think i can help much but i'll try my best .

First thing first , can you trust those bunch of guys who told you person A did it, and do you know person A will do this kind of things . Why don'y you try to personally ask him if he did it, he will either admit it and say it's an accident or deny it . if he's suspicious, you should report this to a teacher who you really trust and will help you find out who's responsible. if there's a chance he might be framed, at least you will know that isn't him to be blamed but even if person A is at fault, he can't do much regarding to wet textbooks/notes and damaged phone .

sorry i can't help much regarding this matter , but i hope i helped you a little , if i didn't then i apologize again for not being able to do so

I would agree with >>2 about finding the culprit first and based on as much evidence as you can get. Then, well, it depends on what your personal feeling is about what should be done to him. You could just forgive him or if you feel the need for a penalty try to contact a teacher you can trust or maybe your parents (I don't know your relation to them, so that could not work out). In my opinion it is best for you to decide what you feel is right and try handling the issue according to that. You may not like the result and thus have the chance to learn about yourself some more. It could even get dangerous for you (I don't know how agressive or brutal the people at your school are) so please bare in mind that you should be careful when charging someone.

Just don't get yourself into to much trouble because of this, not worth it. Hope my view can affect your situation positively, I just want to help.
