I'm quitting, the about page says this place shows people you care and are equal. Not in the least! people insult you, act better then you if your new here and who knows what else. this is a joke. This isn't equality it's a socialist lie, Degrading "true equality" If you can't see that read animal farm and talk to an English teacher about what the books really saying.

*sigh* This seems to happen a lot. Look, I've been posting here since 2011; nearly three years. And in that time, I've seen a lot of people say the very words you're saying right here.

Would you like to know how to avoid getting yelled at? Talked down to? Here's a thought: try being more professional in how you present yourself on the BBS.

- Skim through a board at least once before posing a question to make sure it hasn't been asked 50,000 times already. Also make sure your question isn't just something that can be Googled in five seconds, as that leaves no room for discussion, resulting in a pointless thread that takes up unnecessary space.
- Use proper grammar. Perhaps the reason you're getting yelled at is because your grammar is subpar. Capitalization errors, punctuation errors, imperfect flow. You sound like a child, hence why you aren't being taken seriously. Remember that adults also use this site, and are looking for intellectual discussion.

Also, your comparison to an Orwellian elite rank is way off-mark. If it were really as you claimed, then you'd be seeing people getting banned left and right. You'd see full-blown censorship. That does not happen here, nor will it ever as it goes against the community.

In short, grow up. You're treated like a twerp because you act like one. Deal with it.
