I've dedicated a lot of time into thinking about humanity and it's potential. All to often do we see groups and individuals being dehumanized. Having people expressing themselves and telling their views, emotions, and opinions, truly puts everything back into perspective. That's one reason why I love Vice documentaries so much.
To see what people think and feel changes our view and allows us to see the positivity which is normally shrouded by negativity in our daily lives.
The internet itself is amazing for this; for example, Artie Suh, OP of the "I really need help" thread. People can speak here regardless of antisocial or introverted tendencies.
When I begin thinking of this sort of stuff, there is one thing that comes to mind: An assortment of songs by The Police. "Rehumanize Yourself", "One World (Not Three)", etc.
--- Hopefully humanity can pull through. It has nearly limitless potential for both positive and negative. Thankfully, people are begining to see other people as PEOPLE and it is changing the world for the better.
Oh, I'm sure humanity will pull through. The truth is, no matter how corrupt and flawed we become, our will to survive will make us invincible - and as long as we are still alive, there is still hope for the better.
