I realised it long ago but i dun know how to solove this problem. I am really bad at communicating with people. I hv nth to talk abt to ppl. I try my best to speak out but it seem like i am trying too hard and it backfires.
I dun know wat expression i should hv when i m wif ppl.
It is like with my normal expression,i look like i m unhappy. When i try to smile,it is like i m frowning.
Argh wat should i do? Any advise?

I'd go in-depth and give you advice and all that, but I'm fucking here, so take this: http://www.succeedsocially.com/

It has articles based on all I wanted to say, plus more for other social problems.

I have the same problem. I feel released now that I know that I'm not the only one who struggles to improve communication skills.

Maybe you should practice in front of mirror making faces and see which you like. then try and keep it on

I used to be really really bad at communicating. I started talking to myself and it worked. Since you're on internet, the way you talk seems normal and you know, try talking while you're reading to improve. If you don't know how to make facial expressions. Try see yourself in the mirror and make different face expressions until you get used to yourself. I don't know but that's what I do xD

I used to be very shy and uncommunicative. When I changed schools, I decided to buck up and grow some self-confidence. I forced myself to look people in the eye, even when it hurt me or felt awkward. I wore a mask of a face when I was around people. I practiced this so much, that now it's natural, and the confident outgoing me that used to be fake is now real. Even if you can't say anything, eye contact and facial expressions convey a lot. Also body language. Just be. :}

Dear Anonymous-San, I really, really understand how you feel. My mom keeps saying that I looks so unhappy and 'murderous' when I feel normal. I look in the mirror; it's a normal straight face. One day I even got over a great fight with a classmate I just mate. She's saying that I thought she is boring when I just listened to her talking with a usual face, but she keeps blaming me and.. You know where it goes.

Anyway.. You don't need to grin like a joker. Just try to curve your lips a bit, and probably you can try to make your eyes drop a bit, like when you are sleepy. I guess it softens your 'unhappy' look. Hope I helped.
